From The Dark Web To Discovery, How ESI Analyst Is Making Strides In The Investigative Communities

The growth of commercial communication applications, social media, cyber criminal events, various transaction types, and data volumes has forced many peripheral (to legal) industries to come together to solve problems associated with these data. The interview by Stephen E. Arnold with DarkCyber of ESI Analyst’s Trent Livingston walks through a logical progression of how ESI Analyst approaches many of these problems.

The 10 minute interview is now available on VimeoYouTube, and on the DarkCyber blog.

“I was very thankful for the opportunity to be interviewed by Stephen, as his work with the Dark Web is fascinating and quite impressive,”

The program is a production of Stephen E Arnold. It is the only weekly video news show focusing on the Dark Web, cybercrime, and lesser known Internet services. This interview features a Q&A with Trent Livingston, founder and Chief Executive Officer of ESI Analyst. Arnold asks Livingston a series of questions that gives the landscape of the company direction and key elements of ESI Analyst.

“I was very thankful for the opportunity to be interviewed by Stephen, as his work with the Dark Web is fascinating and quite impressive,” said Trent Livingston of the interview.

In the interview, Livingston explains what makes ESI Analyst different from other investigative and eDiscovery systems, focusing primarily on its ease of use and affordability. Other features mentioned in the interview include one-click analytics, options to display data on a map, and link analysis. Toward the end of the interview, they discuss some roadmap items in ESI Analyst to come with the next release of the software. The release will add connectors and new report formats. Users will be able to output chat streams and maps in a format suitable for use in legal matters. Livingston also reveals support for Amazon Web Services and Elasticsearch to add additional information access flexibility to ESI Analyst.

DarkCyber is a weekly production of Stephen E Arnold. The current series of videos ends with the August 27, 2019, program. The new series of DarkCyber videos begins on November 5, 2019. The new series will focus on policeware with an emphasis on Amazon’s products and services for law enforcement, intelligence professionals, and regulatory authorities in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. DarkCyber programs are published twice each month without a charge, advertising, or commercial endorsements.
